1: The Bible, the Conscience and mental illness
This is exactly how the conscience works. It is only as reliable as the information you have taught it. "For our proud confidence is this: the testimony of our conscience, that in holiness and godly sincerity, not in fleshly wisdom but in the grace of God, we have conducted ourselves in the world, and especially toward you." 2 Corinthians 1:12 Introduction: The conscience must be taught right from wrong. A good conscience is a good feeling you get when you do that which you have been taught is right. A bad conscience is the guilt you feel when you do that which you have been taught is wrong. If a person does what is wrong and feels no guilt it is because they do not think it is wrong or they have a seared conscience. "For when Gentiles who do not have the Law do instinctively the things of the Law, these, not having the Law, are a law to themselves, in that they show the work of the Law written in their hearts, their conscience bearing witness and their thoughts alternately accusing or ... ...

2: Examples of Mental Illness in the Bible
Psychiatry is a vicious enemy of Christianity and the Bible. Christians must be warned about the evils of psychiatry today: a. The word "psychiatry" comes from the Greek and literally means, "doctor of the soul", yet psychiatrists and the DSM-V actually mock the idea that man has a soul or a spirit. So psychiatrists are doctors of something they do not even believe in. "Psychiatry was first coined by Johann Christian Reil in 1808 AD who invented the famous "Klinkenkaten" as a treatment to cure the insane. As the keys were played, the hammer would send a nail into the kitten's tail, making it create a single note of music. b. Psychiatry views man as entirely physical being composed of soups and sparks and rejects the dichotomous nature of man possessing both body and soul. c. Psychiatry is to human behaviour what evolution is to human origins. Churches preach lots of sermons about the evils of evolution while sending their members to evolutionary psychiatrists who are more dangerous! d. ... ...

3: Sin can trigger schizophrenia. Psychiatry: Mental Illness in ...
Sin can make you physically sick and lead to insanity! Heart attack, depression, anxiety, delusion. Introduction: All mental illness is a behaviour choice not a bodily disease. All the behaviours associated with mental illness are without exception, sins listed in the Bible. Sinful living choices can lead to further sinful emotional choices like depression and anxiety, which then become the basis of a mental illness label (diagnosis) by atheistic chemical psychiatrists. Jesus commanded us not to be anxious and a "depressed Christian" is an oxymoron, considering the great joy of possessing the reward and blessing of eternal life in heaven. The behaviours associated with mental illness are solutions to personal problems. Once you have check-listed the behaviours, simply ask, "What personal benefit does the person derive from these behaviours". The label of schizophrenia is applied to those who choose to become delusional and paranoid. Delusion is the sin of deception or lying and ... ...

This is the third of three self-tests. If you have not completed self-test #1 (DSM-7) or self-test #2 (MMPI-7), do them first, then come back and take this final self-test. Click to View Click to View 2. First and second Laws of Psychiatry: a. Psychiatric theorem #1: Behaviour is a choice. Checklist behaviors. Determine the benefit. b. Psychiatric theorem #2: Psychotic behaviour is a solution. Determine the problem. 3. The mystery of insanity is solved when we ignore all psychiatric diagnostic labels and focus on checklisting specific behaviours associated with insanity that are identified in the Bible as sin. Once these behaviours have been identified in a single individual, the only question that needs to be asked is: "What personal benefit does this person derive from engaging in this behaviour". The answer then becomes simple: money, escape responsibility, sympathy, selfishness, attention, control, revenge, rebellion or desire for evil etc. 4. Insanity, depression and anxiety are ... ...
