See also: The Exodus route proven from the Bible. See also: The Chronological History of "The search for Kadesh" Panorama photo gallery of Israel Alphabetic list of all panorama photographs Introduction: The exodus Route has about 50 stops and traverses 7 wildernesses. If we used the Bible exclusively, we can know only 3 of the of the 50 exodus stops for certain: Goshen, Ezion Geber, Mt. Nebo. Of the 7 wilderness areas Israel passed through, we only know one for certain: Wilderness of Shur. The search for the exodus route has produced many different options: Mt. Sinai (18 different locations) The Red Sea crossing point (7 locations) and Kadesh Barnea (16 locations). Most of these options can be ruled out because they conflict with scripture. Paul said in Gal 4:25, that Mt. Sinai is in Arabia. This is a huge problem for those who believe Mt. Sinai is located at Mt. Musa in the middle of the Sinai Peninsula. First they argue that the Sinai Peninsula is not controlled by Egypt or part of ... ...

2: The Number of the Exodus Jews. The population of the Exodus Hebrews
Egypt when crossing the Red Sea because nobody even stumbled. See: Miracles of the Exodus and Red Sea Crossing. c. We do not believe that an exodus population of 2.5 million defies human reasoning in any way. d. We have reviewed all arguments for the various estimates of the exodus population of the Jews in detail and have come to the conclusion that the Bible is consistent in its view that there were 600,000 men (excluding women and children) who left Egypt. We find no reason to question this number for any reason. e. Israel was "as the sand on the seashore" when they left Egypt and went to occupy the promised land. f. 9 million live in modern Israel today. 3 million in 1446 BC is a very believable number. 2. AD 50: Apion was an ancient Egyptian who hated the Jews claimed there were only 110,000 Jews in the Exodus. Josephus says this number is wrong and is "contrived to agree with Lysimaehus. a. Although the number is wrong, we can be sure it is not too high, but rather too low. Apion ... ...

Buy: Exodus Route Restored ISBN: 9798619062717 As featured in Tim Mahoney's Patterns of Evidence "The Red Sea Miracle" and "Journey to Mt. Sinai" Overview of the Exodus and Conquest: In 1446 BC, the 700 km trip from Goshen (Tell el-Dab'a) to Mt. Sinai took a total of took 47 days. After travelling day and night 500 km from Goshen, Israel made the 19 km crossing of the Red Sea at the Straits of Tiran on day 25 then took 22 days to travel 200 km from the Red Sea Crossing to Mt. Sinai. Travel was easy for the 2-3 million Hebrews because there was a 20 km wide, flat coastal plain that hugged the eastern shore of the Gulf of Suez from Goshen to the Strait of Tiran, which the author calls, "The Exodus Highway". On day 9 after leaving Goshen, they arrived at Succoth, adjacent to the turquoise ... ...

7: The Exodus Route: Marah (bitter waters)
Beersheba in Israel is brackish. Today, Israel has adapted by farming catfish (a non-kosher fish) that they sell to the "gentiles". 3. A tree of unknown species was thrown into the water. 4. Early Christians created metaphoric meanings for Marah: from ACC, Vol 3, p 83 a. "The wood that restores the sweetness to water is Christ" (Tertullian). b. "The waters of baptism are of no avail unless the cross of Christ is preached" (Ambrose). c. "The seventy palm trees remind us of Christ's seventy disciples" (Jerome). d. "The bitter water was the law of the Old Testament, which needed to be tempered by the cross of Christ" (Maximus of Turin). e. "Marah and Elim stand in sharp contrast. Marah had one bitter spring; Elim had twelve sweet ones. This is a contrast between the law and the gospel (Maximus of Turin)." 5. During Nabatean times (1st century) Elim was called Leuke Kome which is Greek for "White Harbor" also known as "White Village". a. It was a major seaport and the beginning of a caravan route through El Bad to Petra to Rhinocolura (Arish). b. Two large rectangular storage buildings have been excavated validating the function of a sea to land shipping hub at the time of Apostle Paul. c. Nabatean officials were stationed there in order to collect a 25% duty on all goods being imported. d. We can now be certain that Leuke Kome was the western border town of the Nabatean kingdom in the first century and that Wilderness of Shur, Midian and Al Bad are in first century Arabia. 4. 13: The Exodus Route: Wilderness of Sin: Manna, Quails, Sabbath
Jethro and Moses viewed Mt. Sinai as the "Mountain of God", the one true almighty God. d. At the time of Moses, Mt. Sinai's reputation among the local Ishmaelites, Midianites and Amalekites as the "mountain of God" was the moon god. e. At the burning bush, Moses asked what the name of God was, perhaps because there was a difference of opinion between himself and the indigenous population. Moses knew the difference between pagan gods of Egypt and Arabia and the one true God. Jethro was a priest of the one true God. f. At the time of Moses, the Mt. Sinai was associated with the pagan moon god which is why the two adjoining wildernesses were called Sinai and Sin. 4. Moses continued to use pagan name places in the Exodus: a. Wilderness of Sin and Sinai = wilderness of the moon god b. Baal-Zephon = Baal, god of the storm c. Moses retained his Egyptian name from the 18th Dynasty pharaohs, including the pharaoh of the exodus: "ThutMOSES III". d. Daniel was renamed e. Nebucahnezzar renamed ... ...

The Kenites are a sect of Midianites. The Kenites were descendents of Jethro the Midianite (Moses father in law) and their traditional territory was near Midian: Judges 1:16 The Midianites and the Ishmaelites intermarried and became one sect that were indistinguishable at the time Joseph was sold into Egyptian slavery in 1893 BC. The mountains that trapped Israel are 300 meters high. Etham, where they camped has an area of 70 sq. km. These mountains "shut them in" and are the end of the 200-mile coastal plain, "on the edge of the wilderness" (Ex 13:20). God told them to "turn back" the direction they came and camp in front of the Migdol which was a military watch tower (Ex 14:2, Num 33:7). Scripture says that Israel came to a dead end at Etham, then God told them to turn back and retrace their steps and camp directly beside the "Migdol" in order for pharaoh to say, "Now the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, "Tell the sons of Israel to turn back and camp before Pi-hahiroth, between Migdol and the sea; you shall camp in front of Baal-zephon, opposite it, by the sea. "For Pharaoh will say of the sons of Israel, 'They are wandering aimlessly in the land; the wilderness has shut them in.' The Sinai Peninsula was not Arabia and Mt. Sinai was in Arabia Felix Ishmael lived in Arabia Felix which never included the Sinai Peninsula, therefore Mt. Sinai was in Saudi Arabia. Gal 4:25: Find Ishmael, find Mt. Sinai. Ishmael lived in Midian. Josephus calls the Sinai Peninsula "Egypt". Josephus never calls the Sinai Peninsula "Arabia". Hagar and Ishmael lived in Arabia Felix which never included the Sinai Peninsula therefore Mt. Sinai was in Saudi Arabia. Introduction: 1. Upon reaching Marah they headed south-east, towards the Red Sea and after camping at Elim, they reached the Red Sea. b. We call this the second Red Sea camp, because is it the second one mentioned in scripture after the Straits of Tiran. 3. Three common errors in Exodus route maps regarding the second Red Sea Camp: a. Most completely ignore the second Red Sea camp as though it did not exist in the Bible. These, in blissful ignorance, just draw a route on a map that never features a second Red Sea Camp then put it on the internet to mislead others. b. Some comically engage etymological gymnastics ... ...
