“And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful,” Col. 3:16

From a sermon I recently delivered regarding our use of social media: The heart is the seat of volition; one’s entire life is guided by what takes place in the heart. If the peace of Christ rules the heart that means, every decision made … every action taken … every word spoken or typed … every photo shared … CONVEYS THAT WE ARE AT PEACE WITH GOD, through Jesus Christ.

We are not called to be just “church building” Christians who do a few things right in outward form, just when we are here! We are God’s chosen people;  we seek the things that are above; the word of Christ dwells in us; we live daily under His authority; we have put to death the deeds of the flesh; OUR LIVES ARE HIDDEN WITH CHRIST IN GOD. So, whether we use digital media or not; whatever methods we use to communicate … old or new or both.
