Yaghuth

The Madhhij[1] as well as the people of Jurash[2] adopted Yaghuth[3] (as their god). Said the poet:

"May Wadd keep thee and bless thee!
For to us it is unlawful
With women to daily and wanton;
Thus our faith hath resolved[4]."

Said another:

"Yaghuth led us unto the Murad[5],
And we vanquished them before the morning."
