Refutation of the false Catholic & Orthodox tradition argument:
"Only oral tradition knew that all the prophets were persecuted in Acts 7:52."

Scripture recorded the prophets were persecuted in Acts 7:52

  1. The Lord, the God of their fathers, sent word to them again and again by His messengers, because He had compassion on His people and on His dwelling place; but they continually mocked the messengers of God, despised His words and scoffed at His prophets, until the wrath of the Lord arose against His people, until there was no remedy. 2 Chronicles 36:15-16
  2. The theme that the Jews persecuted the all the prophets is recorded in the Old Testament in great detail.
  3. There is no need to appeal to oral tradition, when you have specific Bible verses.
