Does Revelation foretell today's current events?

Fact:

• God tells us plainly when the prophecies would be fulfilled 4 times in the book of Revelation.
• Twice in these first chapter.
• Twice in the last chapter.

I want to see the first of these 4 verses please!

Here is Bible Verse #1 of 4:

"The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show to His bond-servants, the things which must shortly take place; and He sent and communicated it by His angel to His bond-servant John, who bore witness to the word of God and to the testimony of Jesus Christ, even to all that he saw." Rev 1:1

Notice that this is the very first verse of the book!

When will the prophecies of Revelation take place?

Revelation's prophecies mainly apply to todays current events.

The prophecies will be fulfilled shortly after Revelation was written in 96 AD.
