Satanic Quote: Christianity Trasher

JW's project the false view that they would have an easier time converting Muslims to Watchtower view of God, (where they call Jesus Lord, a God, and Messiah) than Trinitarians to the Triune God. The fact that Muslims reject the resurrection of Jesus says it all!

"Muslims simply cannot follow, as the Jews thus far have likewise failed to grasp, the idea of the Trinity" (as quoted in, Should you believe the Trinity?, Watchtower publication)

It is utterly incredible that the Watchtower or any Arian would quote from Muslims as proof that trinity is pagan false doctrine!

Muslims, quote modernists like Reade to trash all of Christianity, just like Anti-Trinitarians quote from Weigall, Arthur

This leaves no doubt at all in our minds regarding the sources of all Christian doctrine: "Christianity had conquered paganism, and paganism had corrupted Christianity. The legends which belonged to Osiris and Apollo had been applied to the life of Jesus. The single Deity of the Jews had been exchanged for the Trinity which the Egyptians had invented and which Plato had idealized into a philosophic system, [and which had existed in Brahminism, too]. The man who had said "Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God' had now himself been made a god or the third part of one." (Winwond Reade, Philosopher and historian, The Martyrdom of Man, p 183-84, quoted by Ulfat 'Aziz as-Samed, Peshaver University, Muslim, "A Comparative Study of Christianity and Islam", The Source of Christian Creeds, 1976, Pakistan, Quoted by Muslims)

Note: Not even Reade questions that Jesus died on the cross.

Muslims Reject the Trinity and the Deity of Christ

"O People of the Book! Commit no excesses in your religion: Nor say of Allah aught but the truth. Christ Jesus the son of Mary was (no more than) an apostle of Allah, and His Word, which He bestowed on Mary, and a spirit proceeding from Him: so believe in Allah and His apostles. Say not "Trinity" : desist: it will be better for you: for Allah is one Allah. Glory be to Him: (far exalted is He) above having a son. To Him belong all things in the heavens and on earth. And enough is Allah as a Disposer of affairs." (Koran, Surah 4:171, Women), actually quoted by JW's)

"Certainly they disbelieve who say: Surely Allah is the third (person) of the three; and there is no god but the one God, and if they desist not from what they say, a painful chastisement shall befall those among them who disbelieve." (Koran, Sura 5:73, food)

Muslims reject ANY pre-existence of Jesus

The similitude of Jesus before Allah is as that of Adam; He created him from dust, then said to him: "Be". And he was. (Koran, Surah 3:59, never quoted by JW's who reject the Koran when it states Jesus had no pre-existence)

Muslims reject the concept of Sonship of Christ

  • "And they say: The Beneficent God has taken (to Himself) a son. Certainly you have made an abominable assertion The heavens may almost be rent thereat, and the earth cleave asunder, and the mountains fall down in pieces, That they ascribe a son to the Beneficent God. And it is not worthy of the Beneficent God that He should take (to Himself) a son. There is no one in the heavens and the earth but will come to the Beneficent God as a servant. Certainly He has a comprehensive knowledge of them and He has numbered them a (comprehensive) numbering. And every one of them will come to Him on the day of resurrection alone. (Koran, Surah 19:88-95, never quoted by JW's or Arians)
  • "Regarding Sonship of Jesus: That is Jesus, son of Mary, in word of truth, concerning which they are doubting. It is not for God to take a son unto Him. Glory be to Him! When He decrees a thing, He but says to it " Be" , and it is. (Qur'an 19:34,35) And they say, 'The All-merciful has taken unto Himself a son.' You have indeed advanced something hideous. The heavens are well nigh rent of it and the earth split asunder, and the mountains well nigh fall down crashing for that they have attributed to the All-Merciful a son; and it behoves not the All-Merciful to take a son. None is there in the heavens and earth but he comes to the All-Merciful as a servant. (Qur'an 19:88-93) Truly the likeness of Jesus, in God's sight, is as Adam's likeness; He created him of dust, then said He unto him, " Be" , and he was. (Qur'an 3:59) People of the Book, go not beyond the bounds in your religion, and say not as to God but the Truth. The Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary, was only the Messenger of God, and His Word that He committed to Mary, and a spirit from Him. So believe in God and His Messengers, and say not, 'Three', Refrain, better is it for you. God is only One God. Glory be to Him - that He should have a son! To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and in the earth, God suffices for a guardian." (Qur'an 4:171) (The Institute of Islamic Information and Education)

Muslims Reject that Jesus died & the resurrection

  • That they said (in boast), "We killed Christ Jesus the son of Mary, the Messenger of Allah.;- but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but so it was made to appear to them, and those who differ therein are full of doubts, with no (certain) knowledge, but only conjecture to follow, for of a surety they killed him not. (Koran, Surah 4:157, never quoted by JW's or Arians)
  • "Regarding Crucifixion of Jesus: And for their unbelief, and their uttering against Mary a mighty calumny, and for their saying, 'We slew the Messiah, Jesus son of Mary, the Messenger of God'...yet they did not slay him, neither crucified him, only a likeness of that was shown to them. Those who are at variance concerning him surely are in doubt regarding him, they have no knowledge of him, except the following of surmise; and they did not slay him of certainty... no indeed; God raised him up to Him; God is Almighty, All-Wise. There is not one of the people of the Book but will assuredly believe in him before his death, and on the Resurrection Day he will be a witness against them." (Qur'an 4:156-159) (The Institute of Islamic Information and Education)

Muslims believe the faked Gospel of Barnabas that Judas was crucified being mistaken for Jesus and that Jesus lived to old age.

"Accordingly they led Judas to Herod, who of a long time had desired that Jesus should go to his house. ... Now when Judas had been led thither, Herod asked him of many things, to which Judas gave answers not to the purpose, denying that he was Jesus. ... Then Herod mocked him, with all his court, and caused him to be clad in white as the fools are clad, and sent him back to Pilate ... Thereupon, in mockery they clad him in an old purple garment, saying: 'It is fitting to our new king to clothe him and crown him': so they gathered thorns and made a crown, like those of gold and precious stones which kings wear on their heads. And this crown of thorns they placed upon Judas' head, putting in his hand a reed for sceptre, and they made him sit in a high place. And the soldiers came before him, bowing down in mockery, saluting him as King of the Jews. And they held out their hands to receive gifts, such as new kings are accustomed to -give ; and receiving nothing they smote Judas, saying: 'Now, how art thou crowned, foolish king, if thou wilt not pay thy soldiers and servants?' ... Verily I say that the voice, the face, and the person of Judas were so like to Jesus, that his disciples and believers entirely believed that be was Jesus ... Jesus replied, embracing his mother: 'Believe me, mother, for verily I say to thee that I have not been dead at all ; for God hath reserved me till near the end of the world.' ... And though I have been innocent in the world, since men have called me "God," and "Son of God," God, in order that I be not mocked of the demons on the day of judgement, hath willed that I be mocked of men in this world by the death of Judas, making all men to believe that I died upon the cross. And this mocking shall continue until tile advent of Mohammed, the messenger of God, who, when he shall come, shall reveal this deception to those who believe in God's law. ... And he reproved many who believed him to have died and risen again, saying: 'Do ye then hold me and God for liars? for God hath granted to me to live almost unto the end of the world, even as I said unto you. Verily I say unto you, I died not, but Judas the traitor. Beware, for Satan will make every effort to deceive you. ... Then before their eyes the four angels carried him up into heaven." (The Crucifixion Of Jesus According To The Gospel of Barnabas)

Our comment

For Arians (JW's, Christadelphians) to appeal to Muslims to support their false doctrine is nothing short of incredible! Doing such is as dishonest as it is deceptive! JW's have not comprehended that if they had the Governing Body themselves sit down and explain their view of God (Father-true God, Son-a god and Holy Spirit-the force or energy of God) Muslims would immediately label JW's as TRINITARIANS or TWINITARIANS! Stated differently, from the perspective of Muslims there is NO REAL DIFFERENCE between the Trinitarian view of God and the Arian (JW's) view of God. Hindus, Jews and Muslims would label both views as POLYTHEISM! The Governing Body really blundered when they chose this route! We dare JW's to explain their view of God to Muslims and ask if they would call it is polytheism or if Anathema's would be pronounced upon them by Muslims leaders!

How Muslims trash the Trinity

Is Jesus Really God

Without a doubt, you have often heard the claim that Jesus is God, the second person in the " Holy Trinity." However, the very Bible which is used as a basis for knowledge about Jesus and as the basis for doctrine within Christianity clearly belies this claim. We urge you to consult your own Bible and verify that the following conclusions are not drawn out of context.

1. God is All Knowing ..... but Jesus was not

When speaking of the day of judgement, Jesus clearly gave evidence of a limitation on his knowledge when he said, " but of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in Heaven, neither the son, but the Father." Mark 13:32, and Matt 24:36. But God knows all. His knowledge is without any limitations. That Jesus, of his own admission, did not know when the day of judgement would be, is clear proof that Jesus is not all-knowing, and that Jesus is therefore not God.

2. God is All-Powerful ..... but Jesus was not

While Jesus performed many miracles, he himself admitted that the power he had was not his own but was derived from God when he said, " Verily, verily I say unto you, the Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do..." St. John 5:19. Again he said, " I can of mine own self do nothing: As I hear I judge, and my judgement is just because I seek not mine own will but the will of the Father which has sent me." St. John 5:30. But God is not only all-powerful, he is also the source of all power and authority. That Jesus, of his own admission, could do nothing on his own is clear proof that Jesus is not all-powerful, and that therefore Jesus is not God.

3. God does not have a God ..... but Jesus did have a God

God is the ultimate judge and refuge for all, and He does not call upon nor pray to any others. But Jesus acknowledged that there was one whom he worshipped and to whom he prayed when he said, " I ascend unto my Father and your Father, and to my God and your God." St. John 20:17. He is also reported to have cried out while on the cross, " My God, my God why hast thou forsaken me?" Matt 27:46. If Jesus were God, then couldn't this be read, " Myself, myself why hast thou forsaken me?" Would that not be pure nonsense? When Jesus prayed the Lord's prayer (Luke 11:24), was he praying to himself'.) When in the garden of Gethsemane he prayed, " O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: Nevertheless not as I will but as thou wilt." Matt 26:36-39. Was Jesus praying to himself'.? That Jesus, of his own admission and by his own actions, acknowledged, worshipped, and prayed to another being as God is clear proof that Jesus himself is not God.

4. According to the Bible God is an Invisible spirit ... but Jesus was flesh and blood

While thousands saw Jesus and heard his voice, Jesus himself said that this could not be done with God when he said. " No man hath seen God at any time." St. John 1: 18. " Ye have neither heard His voice at any time nor seen His shape." St. John 5:37. He also said in St. John 4:24. " God is a spirit and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth." That Jesus would say that no one had seen or heard God at any time, while his followers both saw and heard him, is clear proof that Jesus was not God.

5. No one is greater than God and no one can direct Him ..... but Jesus acknowledged someone greater than himself whose will was distinct from his own

Perhaps the clearest indication we have that Jesus and God are not equal, and therefore not one and the same, come again from the mouth of Jesus himself who said in John 14:28, " My Father is greater than I." When someone referred to him as good master in Luke 18:19, Jesus responded, " Why callest thou me good? There is none good but one, that is God..." Furthermore, Jesus drew clear distinctions between himself and God when he said, " I proceeded forth and came from God, neither came I of myself but He sent me." John 8:42. Jesus gave clear evidence of his subordination to God, rather than his equality with God, when he said in Luke 22:42, " not my will but thine be done" and in John 5:30, " I seek not mine own will but the will of the Father which has sent me." That Jesus would admit that he did not come into the world on his own initiative but was directed to do so, that he would acknowledge another being as greater than himself, and that he would negate his own will in deference to affirming the will of another, give clear proof that Jesus is not the Supreme One and therefore Jesus is not God.

Conclusion

The Church recognizes the Bible as the primary source of knowledge about God and Jesus. But since the Bible makes it clear that Jesus is not the Supreme Being and the Supreme Being is not Jesus, upon what basis have you come to believe otherwise? My brother or sister, the belief that the Supreme Being is a Trinity is false and completely inconsistent with the words of Jesus as presented in the Bible. God is one, not three. He is a perfect unity. If you are interested in the truth about God and your relationship to Him, we invite you to investigate the religion of Islam.
